A Drowning Man (溺れる人 Oboreru hito) is a 2000 Japanese film written and directed by Naoki Ichio.
[edit] Plot summary
Tokio finds his wife drowned in the bathtub, but when he picks up the phone to call an ambulance he inexplicably stops and goes in the kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee. He then drains the bathtub and carries his dead wife out to the couch. When the gravity of the situation finally dawns on him he drinks himself into a stupor and falls asleep. However, when he wakes up he finds his wife alive and acting as though nothing ever happened.
