Plot Summary[]
A boy from Tokyo named Hiromi Osawa moves to a small town in western Japan and is immediately seen as the coolest kid in their school. Only one student has her doubts about him, a girl named Soyo Migita. Eventually she sees through his slick persona and even becomes a little intrigued by him, much to the chagrin of her father who has recently decided he hates the boy's mother.
They end up going on a field trip to Tokyo together and she gets her first glimpse at what big city life is like - noisy. The experience brings the two closer together and they even share a kiss. Now he must decide if he wants to go to high school in Tokyo or stay with his new friends out in the middle of nowhere.
