Across a Gold Prairie (金髪の草原 Kinpatsu no sougen) is a 2000 Japanese film based on a Yumiko Oshima manga and directed by Isshin Inudou.
Plot[]
Ayumu Nippori wakes up one day believing himself to be 20 years old again even though he's in his 80s. On that same day he's assigned a new 18-year-old helper named Narisa Kodai (Chizuru Ikewaki) whom he immediately falls in love with, believing her to be a similar age to himself. Eventually she begins to admire the old man, and the two share a close relationship - much to the chagrin of her family. Throughout the film the old man is played by Yusuke Iseya to represent his delusion of being young.
