[edit] Plot summary

Yoshimi Matsubara moves into a run-down apartment complex with her daughter Ikuko after a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband. Before long she starts to notice a leak in her ceiling but the landlord refuses to fix it properly. After that, strange things begin happening. A child's red bag keeps appearing and it seems that Ikuko has started talking to a new imaginary friend. This is no ordinary imaginary friend, however, and Yoshimi will soon discover her identity as well as her intentions.
