Gambler: The Great Casino (博奕打ち 総長賭博 Bakuchi-uchi: Sōchō tobaku) aka The Big Gambling Ceremony and Big Time Gambling Boss is a 1968 Yakuza film directed by Kōsaku Yamashita. It is the fourth film in the Bakuchi-uchi (Gambler) series, and is regarded as the best of Toei's yakuza films.[2] Yukio Mishima wrote in the March 1969 issue of Eiga Geijutsu, "[it] resembles the ancient tragedies-- it breathes with human reality."[2]
