[edit] Plot

When filmmaker Kayo Takefuji visits and old man who was once a filmmaker himself, Tatsuji Yamagishi, she finds him in a hospital under the care of the staff. He has no family left but he wishes to write a book before he dies. She tells him that she wants to film a documentary about him and takes the opportunity to go out and record footage of important places from his life to show him. Once she shows him the footage and sees how much he enjoys seeing these images she decides to film a fictional story of a young man based on him, who lives out a similar life while the film expresses Tatsuji's emotions.
