Sakae Nitta filmed Kuroinu to wafuku mibōjin for Sakae Planning, and Xces released it theatrically in Japan on September 12, 2003.[2] Xces re-released it on October 1, 2010 under the title Inu to goke-san: Koshimaki no naka de (犬と後家さん ー腰巻の中でー).[3]
