One Missed Call (着信あり Chakushin Ari) is a 2004 Japanese horror film based on a Yasushi Akimoto novel and directed by Takashi Miike.

PlotEdit

A college student named Yoko (Anna Nagata) receives a phone call which uses a creepy ring-tone which she doesn't recognize, and yet the name on the incoming call is her own. She listens to the message left for her, dated three days in the future, and hears her own voice speaking followed by a horrifying scream. Several days later, around the time that the call should have occurred Yoko meets a gruesome fate which mirrors what she heard in the message. As several of Yoko's friends start receiving creepy cell phone messages and meeting similar fates, her friend Yumi (Kou Shibasaki) races to get to the bottom of the mystery.
