• Her father is kabuki actor Kikugoro Onoe and her mother is actress Junko Fuji. Her paternal grandfather was kabuki actor Baiko Onoe (deceased). Her maternal grandfather was Toei producer Koji Shundo (deceased). Her brother is kabuki actor Kikunosuke Onoe.

• She is married to French creative art director Laurent Ghnassia. They were married on February 26th, 2007 but didn't officially announce it until March 5th. They had been dating since autumn of 2005, having met through work with fashion brand agnès b.
