Trailer

Sukiyaki Western Django (スキヤキ・ウエスタン ジャンゴ) is a 2007 Japanese film directed by Takashi Miike. The movie's plot is based on Sergio Leone's Sphaghetti Western "A Fistful of Dollars", as well as Akira Kurosawa's "Yojimbo". The movie makes references to Old Westerns and Samurai films including Sergio Corbucci's 1966 western "Django", Akira Kurosawa's "Yojimbo" and the "Dollars" trilogy by Sergio Leone. The entire film is shot in English, a notable fact since none of the actors involved were fluent in English at the time of filming.
