Takahisa Zeze

Takahisa Zeze (瀬々敬久 Zeze Takahisa, born 1960 in Oita Prefecture) is a Japanese director, screenwriter, and producer. He earned his philosophy degree from Kyoto University Graduate School of Letters. He is best known for the pink films he directed throughout the 1990s, many of which he gave whimsical production titles which were later changed to be more marketable to pink audiences. Since 1997 he has been working on more mainstream non-pink projects such as Kokkuri and Dog Star.
