Toshiaki Toyoda

Toshiaki Toyoda (豊田利晃 Toyoda Toshiaki) (born 1969 in Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese filmmaker. He made his directorial debut in 1998 with Tokyo Rampage, aka Pornostar. To date he has always been heavily involved in the writing process of the movies he's directed, if not the sole writer.
On August 24, 2005 Toyoda was arrested for possession of banned stimulants. He received a 3-year suspended sentence for the crime, which could have carried a 2-year prison term. Since the incident he has not been involved in any notable film projects.
