Zatoichi 11: Zatoichi and the Doomed Man (座頭市逆手斬り Zatōichi sakate-giri) is a 1965 film based on Kan Shimozawa's novels, directed by Kazuo Mori and starring Shintarō Katsu as Zatoichi the blind swordsman. Zatoichi 11: Zatoichi and the Doomed Man is the eleventh entry in the popular, long-running Zatoichi series.

Plot Summary[]

While in jail for illegal gambling, Zatoichi meets a man about to be executed for a crime he didn't commit. The man begs Zatoichi to set things straight for him.

Zatoichi 11: Zatoichi and the Doomed Man was released theatrically on September 18, 1965.[3] In Japan, the film has been released on videotape in 1984 and 1992, and in DVD format in 2003 as a single and as part of a box set.[4] Home Vision Entertainment released it on DVD in the US on August 19, 2003.[5]
